1. General Information

GreenTech welcomes original research articles, case studies, and review articles in the field of agro-industrial engineering and sustainable agricultural technologies. Submitted manuscripts must adhere to the following formatting and citation requirements to ensure consistency and high academic standards.

2. Manuscript Structure and Formatting

2.1. Article Title and Author Information

  • Title: The title should be concise and descriptive, using Calibri 14 pt, bold.
  • Authors: Full names should be listed in Calibri 11 pt, bold, with affiliations numbered superscript.
  • Affiliations: Should be formatted in Calibri 9 pt. Authors from the same institution should share a single numbering, separated by commas. The corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*) after their numbering.

2.2. Manuscript Formatting

  • Font: All text should be written in Calibri 11 pt, except for specific formatting instructions.
  • Spacing: The manuscript should be single-spaced with 3 pt spacing between paragraphs.
  • Margins: Use normal margins (2.5 cm on all sides).
  • Page Limit: Research articles should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, while review articles may extend to 10,000 words.

2.3. Section Numbering

The article should follow a structured format with numbered sections. Section titles should be bolded and numbered as follows:

2.3.1. Main Sections

  1. Introduction
  2. Research Methods
  3. Results and Discussion
  4. Conclusion

2.3.2. Subsections

  • Subsections should be numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.
  • Sub-subsections should be numbered 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, etc.
  • If a subsection contains multiple paragraphs, there should be 3 pt spacing between paragraphs.

2.4. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must be cited in the text in bold (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).
  • Each figure and table should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, Figure 1, Figure 2).

Example of citation in text:

  • Based on the research data in Table 1, it can be observed that...
  • A summary of the experimental data is presented in Figure 1.

2.4.1. Figures

  • File Format: JPEG, PDF, or TIFF with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (for images) and 600 dpi (for line art and graphs).
  • Color Mode:
    • Black and white images should be in grayscale mode.
    • Colored images should be in RGB mode.
  • Size: Figures should fit within the following widths:
    • 8 cm (single column)
    • 12.5 cm (one and a half columns)
    • 16.6 cm (two columns)
  • Figure Titles:
    • Titles should be capitalized in each major word (except conjunctions).
    • No period at the end of the title.
    • Font: Calibri 10 pt, bold.
  • In-Figure Text: Any text within figures should be written in Calibri 10 pt for clarity.

2.4.2. Tables

  • Tables should be formatted as editable text (not images).
  • Use Calibri 10 pt for table content.
  • Table title should be bold and numbered (e.g., Table 1, Table 2).
  • Column headings should be bold.
  • Avoid using vertical lines in tables.

3. Citation and References

  • GreenTech requires authors to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero, or RefWorks.
  • The reference format must follow the IEEE citation style.
  • In-text citation format:
    • Single reference: [1]
    • Multiple references: [2, 5]
    • More than two references: [3, 11, 17, 51]

Example:

  • Correct citation in text: "The results in [2] indicate that..."; "Recent studies [3, 11, 17, 51] suggest that..."

3.1. Reference List

  • References must be formatted in IEEE style.
  • All citations in the text must appear in the reference list.
  • References obtained from online sources must include the access date.
  • At least 80% of references must be from peer-reviewed journals published within the last 10 years.
  • The minimum number of references is:
    • 10 references for research articles.
    • 30 references for review articles.

Authors must adhere to ethical research and publication standards:

  • Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin. Submissions with a similarity index above 30% will be automatically rejected.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Data Integrity: Research data must be accurate, reliable, and reproducible.
  • Human and Animal Research Ethics: Studies involving human or animal subjects must obtain ethical approval and informed consent.
